The Blue Jays have agreed to sign Melky Cabrera to a two-year, $16MM contract, Enrique Rojas of ESPNdeportes.com reports. ACES represents Cabrera, who must pass a physical for the deal to be completed.

Hell yes. I love Melky lol. He'll give us that extra step we need in outfield. We've got some really really good outfield depth now. Bautista, Rajai, Bonafacio, Melky, Gose, Sierra. I mean he was using PEDs, but he's still a good bat to have for sure.

How was I forgetting Rasmus too lol. And he's not terrible. Assuming he wasn't on PEDs before he was a Giant, he can hit for a good .270 avg from what I can see. I like that lineup

They'd more than likely bat Melky 2 instead of Rasmus too. Rasmus sucks

Rasmus is inconsistent but dude has a sweet swing. I think he'll be fine.

Rasmus had a decent first half until he started sucking when the Jays started losing. I wouldn't give up on him that easily.

Man could we canadians get more excited then this for baseball ? Since the Expos are gone I never got that excitement for MLB but now ... DAMN
100 % getting tickets for the season
Now lets just wish that thus whole thing works out the way we want it ... Sucks that the deal is still under review

btw ... do you think our off-season is done ? I still believe AA is going to come up with one more move that would end our off-season on the right path
