he probably still has that "potential" factor. if geno is open at their pick theyll snatch him and klolb will be the vet backup.

Does this rule out Geno at 8? :(

That's what I would LIKE to think, but you have to realize this is the Bills we're talking about here. I feel like signing Kolb might have been a move to take pressure off of them to not go QB at 8. Buffalo fans will be livid if Kolb is our starter.

More I think about it though, I like the signing, but not if he's going to be our solidified starter going into the season.

When healthy last year, Kolb excelled in the hurry-up at the end of each half. Had Arizona allowed him to run that more often, he'd have had a much better year and may have stayed healthy. They really were a good team at the beginning of the season, but dropping him back in a traditional huddle-up format ended up giving him a nasty injury and look where Arizona ended up. They could have easily challenged for the division had they run the hurry-up.

If Marrone sees this, Buffalo will be much better this year if Kolb starts. He'll also have one hell of a running game. I think they should take a second to mid round QB and not take a chance on wasting a high pick on Geno or Barkley, though.
