"Big Chances" Kobe Will Play in Italy

According to Sportando, Kobe Bryant is in Italy and was quoted as saying, "There are big chances I will play with Virtus Bologna."

Take this with a grain of salt as nothing is near official, but Bryant has Italian roots and has seemed intrigued with the possibility of joining the club for an extended period of time. The most recent offer from the team was for one month and $2.5 million before taxes.

Definitely sounds like he's going to be heading to play in Italy. The NBA needs to realize that these overseas contract are going to kill their league, and the fans are going to start leaving the sport. Just get a deal done! Will be interesting to see Kobe play in the country that he grew up in.
