Bibby-to-Cavs Trade Rumor

The Mike Bibby-to-the-Cavaliers trade rumors that started last season have continued, especially since the Cavs have struggled this season and the point guard position remains a weak spot. Bibby has not played this season because of a torn ligament suffered during the preseason. Bibby, of the Kings, shot several jump shots during pregame. He expects to return within 10 days.

I just hope if this happens that we get some young talent and/or a 1st rd pick.

How old is Hughes? He plays SG though right? I dont see why Sac would want a SG with Martin/Salmons/Garcia.

they would move Martin to PG most likely.. hughes can play both spots, but his defense is way superior to the others, and allows Garcia maybe to play more SF, too

LOL. I can see Gibson coming over to Sacramento but I can't see Larrry Hughes being traded for Bibby. Larry Hughes CAN play PG though if they need him to.

I doubt Cleveland will give up Boobie. And I think Salmons is more of a SF player, and Garcia has the height to be a SF, but he's more of a shooter. So except for defense, which they have Ron Artest, I don't see the need for Hughes.

Well, I read on Hoopshype that the Kings would send Bibby/Thomas For possibly Gooden/expiring contracts/picks and Hughes would have to be thrown in their for the salary cuz Bibby and Thomas add up to 20M.

Well I don't see that line-up happening period. Doubt that they would get that trade pulled off.

Yea, start building around Martin, Garcia, and Salmons. And they should send Hawes to the D-League.
