No poll, no rankings. Just a serious question. Who would you guys rank as the BEST OVERALL football player? Positions do not matter. Most athletic, best instincts, helps their respected team the most both on and off the field, most pure talent.

off the field I'm not concerned with, but I do know that James Harrison can do everything and yet he still seems to be overlooked aside from his DPotY season.

The question is who is the best overall NFL player, not who is the least appreciated NFL player.

IMO to be considered the best in any sport you need to be there in the locker room and supporting everyone when the cameras arent on you. im not sure if james harrison is that kind of guy lol.

i can't even decide because I'd have to decide between players of certain positions and I have having to do that. It's so hard to value somebody's importance at one position over another.

I gotta go with Tom Brady, that offense is like a machine with so many moving pieces over the years and yet the only constant has been Brady. He makes sure everyone is involved and that they know what their respective roles are on the team. Excellent captain as well and makes sure everyone is accountable, even himself.

If we are talking about in the locker room and on the field in one, it's Drew Brees. He's also the most important player to his team and city then anyone else.(opinion with community)

I'd go with Tom Brady as well. Hard question to answer though really.
