Bengals LB Thomas Howard tears ACL in practice

Howard tore his ACL in practice on Wednesday. The Bengals placed him on IR.

This is a big blow for Cincy. I thought Howard played great against the Ravens last week, and he was their leading tackler last season.

Vontaze Burflict may get a bump in playing time, but in the meantime, the Bengals re-signed LB Rodrick Muckleroy, who was cut during the Bengals' last round of cuts.

Bengals really have it tough this season.

As if their defense didn't look bad enough in Week 1, they have something like this happen to one of their better defenders. Someone will have to step up for them.

Best LB on the team too, these injuries are just starting to pile up and it's not just little injuries either, it's season ending injuries. Bengals have a hard time staying healthy, always losing key players.
