Bengals Extend Leon Hall

Filed to ESPN: Cincinnati signed CB Leon Hall to a four-year, $39 million extension that includes $14.1 million guaranteed. Deal runs through 2015.

Good move, Leon is clearly someone we needed to lock up, don't want to lose out on another CB, and he's our top CB. Starting to spend some of this cap that we've had, which is good to see, especially extending Whitworth & Hall.

He's been in the NFL for four years and hasn't missed one game in four years. *knock on wood*

That was the problem with Joseph, he could never stay healthy and he was seeking a long term deal, he just hasn't shown the durability. Is he a good CB? Yes. But we always had a backup in there playing for him anyways. I'm not bent out of shape over losing Joseph.

Great move for the Bengals. First, we hear that Palmer might be coming back, and now they get their top corner locked up long-term, great day for the Bengals. Hall definitely needed to be extended, especially like someone else said after they lost Joseph. Great move for their future.
