After watching Pete Carroll flub what would've been his second Super Bowl ring into the crook of Malcolm Butler's arm this February, Marshawn Lynch has rebounded spectacularly.
 
He's partied with the Golden State Warriors, had his likeness scanned for use in the upcoming Call of Duty release and starred in a Ludacris music video.
 
With all of his high-profile appearances seemingly in the books this offseason, Lynch now has time to enjoy the simple things, like coaching youth football and nibbling warm, sock-incubated chicken wings in the California sun.

The Seattle Seahawks' official website recounts Lynch's afternoon of coaching at-risk youths from Oakland and San Francisco on Saturday. The Seahawks running back worked with campers of all ages, including three juvenile offenders from San Francisco, one of whom had been recently shot.
 
For anyone who keeps up with Lynch and his substantial work in the Bay Area community, this is business as usual for Lynch—even down to the weird details of his camp lunch break.

At one point Lynch is delivered some chicken wings on the field and he stuffs a few extras in his socks. Yes, you read that right, for a few minutes this millionaire, Pro-Bowl running back was coaching football on a warm July afternoon with chicken wings in his socks, which he later removed and ate.
 
In fairness to Lynch, sock chicken is chicken how God intended it to be. Moist, tender—with a smack of ankle salt for seasoning that doesn't threaten to overpower the meat. It's portable for anytime snacking, which is, of course, a pivotal component in the Lynch game-time diet.
