Sacramento Bee -
According to the Sacramento Bee the Spurs are closing in on a deal for Ron Artest.

The Spurs would send the expiring contracts of Francisco Elson and Brent Barry for Artest and possibly include a draft pick.

It is also believed, however, that Denver may be ready to part ways with Linas Kleiza for Artest.

Ya besides, that a terrible trade for the Kings. Expiring contract or not, they can get a lot more for Artest.

But if the Spurs pull this off I'm going to put them back up as favorites of the West lol. How many times has are best team in the West change this season lol.

The Kings will not do that!

Why would they trade for just expirings when Artest is an expiring himself?

Artest is a disgruntled expiring.

If you look at it that way, why not trade him for <Censored>tier expirings? Higher draft choice FTW

I just read that it is likely a bidding war between Denver, New York, ans San Antonio so maybe he will actually go somewhere. Tongiht could be his last game as a King.
