Antonio McDyess said that he's "pretty definite" that Friday's season-ending loss to Memphis was his final game in the NBA.

"This was my last game," said McDyess, a 16-year veteran. "But this was not the way I wanted it to end." He lost feeling in his arm on Friday after getting a 'stinger,' and he was torched down the stretch by Zach Randolph despite playing solid defense. He is owed $5 million next season but seems ready to retire.

Sad to see McDyess about to call it quits. He's such a great role player and professional and it will be different without seeing him on the Spurs. Great to see him finishing it strong, but it will still be way different.

Thoughts?

This is tough to see. Even though he's been on the Spurs, I've wanted to see him win a championship. If only he was on the Pistons a year earlier, he'd have one. Kind of ironic how the team his current team is the team that stopped him from getting one. Just some of the instances where he's been close. I loved having Dyess on the team, and he was my favorite Spur, aside of Timmy. If this is the end for him, he has had one great career.

Feel pretty shitty for him. Dude deserved a ring more than anyone else in the league.
One of my favorite Pistons of all time.
Imagine how good he could of been if he never got hurt.
