Anthony Bennett and the Minnesota Timberwolves are making progress on a buyout agreement.

The Wolves have failed to find a trade involving Bennett this offseason.

Bennett was the first overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bennett's agents have been eager for a contract buyout to allow him the chance for greater playing time.

He's turned out to be quite the dud.

Seemed like a bad pick at the time too
I dont follow college, or do mocks, but every mock i saw did not have him first lol

Maybe a good team can turn him around

There were only two players picked in the top 10 that year that are actually good. It was just a bad draft.

It could be argued that if that draft produced 3 teams: players 1-10 on one, 11-20 on the next, and 21-30 on the last, that the Top 10 would be the worst

It was still an out of nowhere pick. There were better options

Ain't got more than the minimum to offer him lol. Plus we're pretty stacked on the front court... only reason to sign him would be because he's Canadian, don't think it's worth it for him or Toronto.

Yeah the front court of Biyombo, Jonas, Stiemmsma, Patterson, and Scola is stacked lol

But I agree Bennett doesn't fit there

I guess we were all wrong and FPS was right, the Raptors are working on signing him to a minimum deal. Wasn't sure he was willing to take that deal.

why wouldnt he? hes already a millionaire and isnt worth an active roster spot at this point of his career. go practice with the hometown team and hope you get better and become a 12th man

Just because I swear he wanted the buyout based on getting a bigger role and I'm not sure he gets that with Toronto.

And I figured there were teams still willing to take a chance on him from what I've read.

That's not really calling it then, is it? That's knowing it.
