I'm not cut crew, so take it for what it's worth, but that's a great cut.

How do you all cut the hair so well? I've tried with the pen tool and it's not pretty.

actually, I think he took my tip and developed it very well - using the grass blade brush tool and making hair underneath the render layer on a new one.. trying diff colors to help blend, etc

Actually I haven't tried that yet jarrod, but I plan on doing so.

I happen to use a normal 1px smudge brush on 75% darken and then smudge in areas that need hair.

Jarrod's way is probably just as good or even better.
