Amar'e Stoudemire told Don Shane of WXYZ that being traded to Detroit is something he would welcome and that Phoenix's interest in trading him has to do with financial issues.

"It would be phenomenal," said Stoudemire about joining the Pistons. "I think the fans here have been probably the top fans in the world since I’ve been in the NBA. They’re always cheering their team on and every time we come here, their always loud and rowdy, so it would be fun to play here."
The peices are falling into place. Oh lord.

We've all known that the team trying to trade him is due in part with financial issues, and I think if Detroit acquired him they would very possibly be the best in the East, but that may be pushing it, haha.

Wake up and smell the coffee piston fans. He's not going to detroit. Chicago and heat and nj could put up better deals.

And if by some miracle and he does go there you would just have him for a year and a half. Because in 2010 he's gone.

You say that now, but did you ever think we would trade for AI? No.

You always have the doubt, Detroit can put together the best deal.
Is it likely? No. But it sure as hell can happen.

BTW, he would sign an extension it sounds like if he came here.. Seeing as he says it would be awesome to play here.

And TYO, I don't think you read much of the articles lately, Suns want to get CAP relief and players. Not just young players that are role players.

And they won't trade with Miami, again.

Just cuz he wants to go there, doesnt mean he will. He has no say in it.

Well yes I know that. But I'm also trying to say Detroit can put together the best deal.

Maybe Amare can bug Kerr about coming here :p

Biedrins - Amare frontcourt possibly?
Well Suns want a big man I presume. And the Warriors are full of over-paid guards. I highly doubt they make a deal. And if they do, it will involve AB.

A) Sheed's a cancer
B) Wright > Amir, probably Randolph > Amir

Okay, I'll be the first to say that Sheed is an ass, and that I hate him. But I don't see how he was a cancer, because he won a championship with Detroit.

Sheed is the farthest thing from a cancer. He may be annoying on the court, but everyone says he is the greatest teammate they have ever played with.

Far from a cancer. Just cause he leads the league in techs doesn't mean he is a cancer, at all. Just to passoniate for the game.
