Amare Loses Older Brother In Car Crash

Hazell Stoudemire, older brother of Amar'e Stoudemire, was killed in a car crash on Monday.

Stoudemire rammed his Escalade into the rear of a tractor-trailer in Florida. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed instantly.

Amar'e Stoudemire will miss Monday's game against the Jazz.

possibly, but could have something stupid, like, he dropped his phone, picked it up, and didn't stop in time.

And the seatbelt thing is common. I've caught myself not wearing a seatbelt. You stop short and almost get into an accident, and then you ALWAYS wear it, lol.

i honestly cant say i drive without my safe belt. its always on. i put it on just to park my truck outside of my house. its not that i feel i should but because its just a habit and i feel weird without it on.

i got into the habit of not wearing it. Just from always getting in my uncle's truck for catering jobs. Constantly in and out of the truck, that you just stop putting a seatbelt on. Then next thing I know, I'm in my own car not wearing it. Guess that was a habit too.

thats an odd way to attempt suicide though. if it doesnt work you could be messed up for life. id say it was a mistake and he likely just wasnt a good driver and maybe under the influence.

No way people attempt suicide like this often. Usually they fail and the airbag works and they come away with vehicular.manslaughter (because of the person in the other vehicle) and some major or minor injuries if their own.

Same here, for as long as I can remember my parents told me to put my seat belt on every time I got into a car so at this point it's just habit.
