The Utah Jazz and Alec Burks have reached agreement on a four-year, $42 million contract extension.
Burks' deal could climb to $45 million with reachable incentive clauses.

Burks, 23, is the third young Jazz player, along with Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors, to reach a four-year extension with the franchise.

Burks has developed into one of the NBA's better young shooting guards.

He has, and I think he is still only gonna get better. Just kind of shocked by it really. Figured they'd wait to see how he played this season.

not talking shit, he's just not the player they should consider as a franchise player in that backcourt. they still have a real good three guard rotation.

I think Exum is more of a SG though.

why? He's a pass first guard with shooting problems. He's a tall point guard, not an off-ball guard
