Should the Sixers pursue, soon to be, free agent Gilbert Arenas this next off-season?
Would "Agent Zero" be a good fit in Philly?

Trading Andre Miller will give us the cap space to lure in a marquee name. I think who we go after depends on where we will fall in the draft and I am also assuming Gilbert opts out of that final year of his current deal. If the Sixers can end up with Mayo or Rose in the draft, I would expect them to pursue Elton Brand, Okafor, or Josh Smith. Should the lottery not go our way and it's Beasley or Arthur in draft...then pursuing Arenas is an easy and obvious choice to make.

Top priority is re-signing "Iggy", who I see perfectly fit to run next to Arenas. Still need a dominant PF but Arenas is well worth it b/c of the marketable player he is & all the attention he reels in.

I would bring Agent Zero to Philly, would you?

I think that Gilbert's exactly what the Sixers need: a Scorer.

he would replace the old AI type of offense IMO -- not sure if this is a good or bad thing

I don't know Gilbert is a Shooting Guard not Point Guard.
So it would be like having AI agian.
I mean he would be great on that team but then it may make Iggy feel that it is not his team.

But it all depends on where they fall in the draft...*cough throw the season cough*

yeah besides the fact that Zero's not a thug.

OMG, are you crazy?

AI is FAR from a thug, before you label people, learn what the meaning of thug is....

But I think it would be a great move for the 76ers to pick him up, Im sure the fans are hungry for another REAL scorer, he would be perfect for em.

Who is he?
Allen Iverson - All Star guard with the Philadelphia 76ers. 1st pick overall in the 1997 NBA draft - so he can play a little...

What did he do?
Alledgedly, Iverson is accused of storming into a cousin's apartment with a gun and threatening two men while looking for his wife.

When?
14th July 2002. He turned himself in to Police on the 16th.

Charged?
Iverson was arrested on 14 felony and misdemeanor charges, including assault, terroristic threats and weapons offenses. Iverson's uncle, who allegedly accompanied him, was also charged.

AE, why must you always try to prove me wrong?

Its clear me and you have two different opinions of.....well, life.

AI has charges, but that doesnt make him a thug. To me a thug is someone who has a laundry list of charges, a felony or two (that he was CONVICTED of)

Nobody in the NBA is a thug, all the "thugs" arent playing pro ball on national tv everyweek. I wish you could be introduced to a real thug, then you would know the difference.

I don't know, Andre Miller is doing really well for Philly, but that could be because they don't really have anyone else.

Your the only one that seems to step up and actually defend the actions of the Michael Vick's and the Kobe Bryant's of the World. On wait...I didn't grow up in a "ghetto"...I guess I wouldn't understand.

Understand how easy it is to mis-understand law and order, right and wrong when you grow up in a "ghetto"?

Yes I actually like most NBA players. I just LOVE the Mavs.

And you're putting words in my mouth. You're saying that I don't like Iverson. I like him, I just was showing that for humor, not to be in the middle of this.

When did I ever say I grew up in the ghetto?

To be honest you sound like a racist, you dont know anything about me other then my views on certain things.

I can spit out dumbass comment like that concerning you, but Im gonna act like the grown man here and let it go.

Pretty sad for a grown man to label someone over the internet.

There is no way AI is a thug. And just cause you break the law some times doesn't make you a thug.
