Should the Sixers pursue, soon to be, free agent Gilbert Arenas this next off-season?
Would "Agent Zero" be a good fit in Philly?
Trading Andre Miller will give us the cap space to lure in a marquee name. I think who we go after depends on where we will fall in the draft and I am also assuming Gilbert opts out of that final year of his current deal. If the Sixers can end up with Mayo or Rose in the draft, I would expect them to pursue Elton Brand, Okafor, or Josh Smith. Should the lottery not go our way and it's Beasley or Arthur in draft...then pursuing Arenas is an easy and obvious choice to make.
Top priority is re-signing "Iggy", who I see perfectly fit to run next to Arenas. Still need a dominant PF but Arenas is well worth it b/c of the marketable player he is & all the attention he reels in.
I would bring Agent Zero to Philly, would you?
