76ers Will Meet With Majerle

Suns assistant coach Dan Majerle is the latest candidate to be targeted by the 76ers, according to sources.

Philadelphia has received permission from Phoenix to speak with Majerle. The 76ers are expected to meet with him on Monday after Game 4 between the Suns and Spurs.

The Sixers also have an interview scheduled Monday with Trail Blazers assistant coach Monty Williams.

Former Pistons star Bill Laimbeer, who is now an assistant with the Timberwolves, is scheduled to interview with the 76ers on Sunday.

Philadelphia has scheduled a number of meetings and has already met with a few coaching candidates.

Laimbeer coached the WNBA's Detroit Shock to three championships.

Mitchell wasn't that bad of a coach. Obviously Coangelo was dumb rnough to fire him when they had a 3-3 record.

He is a good coach to have around young players like Jrue, Turner, Speights, Thad. He'll do a lot for them, he'll probably leave after 2-3 years or something just in time when the 76ers should have a really good team.

im always complaining about him on TV and have been wanting him to get a HC job for a few years now lol

but i think im going to miss him. hopefully he does well. i really like those Sixers.
