Sam Smith, of Bulls.com and formerly the Chicago Tribune, recently talked about the possibilty of a blockbuster seven-player trade that would sent Steve Nash to Toronto.

In Smith's deal the Suns would trade Nash, Leandro Barbosa, and Robin Lopez for Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Anthony Parker, Jason Kapono, and maybe even Jamario Moon as cap filler.

Kyle Odegard of the East Valley Tribune doesn't believe the rumor has much weight, however.

Sounds ridiculous LOL.
They must be high on that Dragic.
Or they plan on signing Livingston.
Calderon isn't much without TJ IMO.
Well TJ brought something to the team they don't have this year.

Jose has on of the best assist to turnover ratio's and he can shoot 3's and hit FT's lol.
He's good enought to replace Nash.

Damn that's a lot of key players haha.

Bosh-Nash combo would be hella good. And I could see that getting JO back to better form.

and jose and andrea are still up and coming

I wouldn't say Nash isn't in his prime still. The Suns stopped the fast break tempo, and are trying to run the ball through Shaq.

Nash doesn't have the freedom he used to. I think if you bring him to Toronto they will adjust to the fast pace game.

i think if we keep jose he'll be almost if not as good as nash in the next 3-5 seasons
true we could adjust to a fast break offense
but we like to pound the ball down low to bosh and JO
like flip said the players we would trade
arent as good as the ones we would be receiving

Let me fill you guys in on a little bit of information... Sam Smith likes to throw out crazy trades all the time, the likely hood of this happening is pretty slim, in fact, there's a better chance of Kobe Bryant retiring tonight than this trade ever happening.

omg joey gathright looks sexy there in a cubs uni bks......

btw this is BS. Calderon is just as good as Nash IMO when healthy. So really that washes everything out and you give up Bargnani

Bargnani just had like 30 points the other night and is doing amazing atm. I really hope this doesn't happen because I think Jose is just as good as Nash.

This would be stupid if it went through. Raptors would be losing a lot more than what they would be gaining.

this is definitely crap.
BKS said it. Sam Smith is notorious for making stuff up.
here's an example, one of many. Last season he said the Lakers were going to get Ben Wallace and Ron Artest in a 3-way trade
