49ers Will Unveil new Uni's

The San Francisco 49ers have new uniforms along with a newly-drafted wide receiver in Texas Tech star Michael Crabtree.

The 49ers are sporting new threads, unveiling their new uniforms in front of an excess of 5,000 fans at their annual draft party, the team announced.

“The new uniforms represent the 49ers in a manner that allows us to connect with our past, but also keep an eye on our future,” San Francisco 49ers team president Jed York said. “Our decision to change the uniform is just another opportunity to show our fans that we are always striving to improve our team in every way possible.”

Well...theres a 49ers under the collar lol. They basically blended the older with the newer and got that lol.

Addition by subtraction here. I wish they just would have gone 100% retro & not 95%. The newer version of the "SF" doesn't look right on the old school helmet...and that "49ers" wordmark under the collar looks like crap.

I also miss the really, really wide stripes the pants used to feature....and c'mon, no more striped socks!?!
