The Raptors are dealing with Vince Carter's injury problems and the possibility of him looking out for a trade, and there is a lack of youth, and Alvin William's injury issues at PG. The team does need another big man presence but we just can't pass over who we believe is an immediate star in this league, and will look to find other trade options for a big man. Donyell Marshall is still OK at power forward and the center can be fixed easily with the assets the Raptors have.

Therefore, the Raptors select SG/PG Dwyane Wade from Marquette

With no real center and PG being filled with Rafer Alston, the Miami Heat select:

C Chris Kaman, Central Michigan

Bulls take Kirk Hinrich... About to take TJ Ford, but Hinrich is a better shooter, and we need one with Tyson Chandler + Eddy Curry inside.

Bucks NEED a center, and have a surplus of guards so I'll take my chances with Darko Milicic.

Since we already have enough PG's and no reliable 2nd scoring option behind Allan Houston.....

With the 9th pick in the 2003 NBA Draft the Knicks select Josh Howard out of Wake Forest University.
