What someone wants to pay/earn =/= what the final numbers will look like.

  The Eagles would be 1-4 with losses to Denver this week and the Giants next week. The Redskins would be 0-4 with a loss to the Raiders today, with a chance at either 1-4 or 0-5 next week, so it is possible.

  Assuming that Denver and Oakland hold on today, if the Giants win next week, they would be in second place in the division. How sad is that?

I think the game went pretty well. They'll definitely break the curse of teams who play their home games in stadiums that will host the Superbowl in a particular year.

  If Seattle won their division at 7-9 in 2010, even winning a playoff game after that, then why not?
