I say the Bulls should go full on tank mode for next year. Trade Butler for the Lakers and Nets 2018 picks. Then trade everyone else on the roster away for more picks. I want to go into next season with this starting 5
PG - Jerian Grant
SG - Valentine
SF - Zipser
PF - Portis
C - Felicio

You are way off base. Trout is obviously a better player, that is not what we are debating in here. Look at their current contracts. Trout hits FA in 2021, when he will be 29. Harper hits FA in 2019 when he will be 26. That's a massive difference. You are paying 3 additional years for a top 3...
Wolves and Suns going hard after Butler per Woj. I still think Boston makes the most sense for everybody involved.
No way the Cavs have the assets to get Butler unless Kyrie is available.... That being said I can't wait for GarPax to trade Butler for JR + 2nd round in 2019
Twitter is saying Celtics are trading back because they need more to land Jimmy
If the Bulls get Okafor, #3, plus I'd flip. Get Wade tf out of Chicago, and they might actually be worth watching next season. I know they would be a worse team as a result but I'd rather watch a team grow. No...
The Bulls aren't trading Butler to the Celtics for something other than the #1 pick so your point is moot
Signing Hayward would do a lot more good than Griffin who will probably hurt his foot 5 times over the length of the contract
The Nets goal is to win the title too someday. The Celtics aren't going to do shit anytime soon with Lebron still in Cleveland and KD with the Warriors
Even if they went crazy with the luxury tax, traded for Butler, and signed both Hayward and Griffin they would be lucky to take GS to 6
If the Celtics were smart they would trade #1 to the Bulls. They are landing Hayward with the Stevens card in play, the chance to play for a true contender, and exposure in Boston. IT-Hayward-Butler with the rest of their depth could be enough to get rolled in the NBA Finals as opposed to the ECF
