All Im saying is Keenum isnt the worst QB to come from nowhere and lead a team into the playoffs. Were also past the point of this being a fluke.
You have a crystal ball though so I guess we should just pack it all up now and start planning for next year.
Sometimes QBs need to find themselves in the right system/team/situation. Its hard to dismiss what Keenum is doing as Vikings starter because he wasnt successful on dogshit Texans and Rams teams in the past.
And Keenum was also good enough to be drafted and send his entire pro career in ththe...
Vikings will take the W despite the worst officiated game of the season. They made big plays when it really mattered. Characteristic of a championship caliber squad.
Worst officiating crew in the league. Pereira mentioned earlier they were part of the most controversial replay calls this season. A bunch of fucking retards in stripes.
The officiating is still on crack in this league. Very, very inconsistent. No way in hell that Golliday Play was a catch when the ball had as much movement after it touched the surface... and he didn’t have a hand underneath.
Looking forward to Case marching the offense right back down the...
Good call Bware. I'm still a blg believer in Treadwell and feel like the day is approaching where he has a big game and becomes the big, physical red zone target they drafted him to be.
A win today should mean Keenum is the guy. Announce it so he can stop looking over his shoulder. I'm pumped...
Actually they were put in place because of MLBPA. International Free Agents are rookies and should be subjected to the same rookie contract structure as North American players who enter the league via draft.
It’s not a primary concern but I doubt he spurns the Yankees and $3.5M for a smaller market team that will pay a couple million less. There’s more money, in addition to salary, to be made in the Big Apple than anywhere else.
Davis one of the most reliable closers in the game. Closed out 29 or 30 consecutive games for the Cubbies this season. Without him, I'm not sure the Cubs make into the NLCS. Their bullpen was awful and Wade was leaned upon for 6 outs, much like Chapman the year prior.
Please, I've been a baseball hardcore much, much longer than you've been giving stupid takes on this site. Your opinions and comments here tell me you have no idea what goes on in MLB before the month of October.
Damn you for saying this. Hope like hell we see the same teams from this past Sunday enter Ford Field. If that's the case (no pun intended).... then the Vikings will roll.
Vikings have literally botched the last 3 games played against Detroit. They'll control most of the game and shoot...
Most International Signing Bonus Pool Money per MLB.com:
Rangers: $3.535M
Yankees: $3.5M
Twins: $3.245M
Pirates: $2.267M
I like the Yanks' chances going in on this. The Rangers are a darkhorse as they have the money and obviously know what they're doing on the international market.
So in 2016, Braves signed Kevin Maitan for $4.25M and then a bunch of others for a combined $15M. This was an eye-opener b/c the Braves only had $4.75M in pool space to spend.
What they did was circumvent International signing bonus rules by signing players under the system for far less...
Kinda fucked up MLB banned Coppodella from baseball for life, but John Hart resigned well after the fact and probably isn't penalized at all. As President of Baseball Ops at the time, Hart needs to go down with this ship.
Apparently a league (not World Series) Most Valuable Player must do the job of 25 men and personally lead his team into the playoffs. That's at least according to brett05.
Because it's not like the Dodgers were a series win away from the World Series before Bellinger was in the big leagues or...
