I don't think this would be a bad idea depending on how long and how much the contract is. He could help our younger hitters and he is a great guy to have in the clubhouse I'd say.
What's with basketball games being played on Christmas? I mean, wouldn't the players want to go home for Christmas? Even people at home, wouldn't they want to be spending Christmas with they're families? It's just weird to me.

Man, I remember the 2002 playoffs, LEAFS! It's great to see hockey is getting more popular every year. This is good for the game. I was afraid it didn't have enough fans compared to other major sports leagues.

Brodeur plays a lot of games a season and is still able to keep his shape. All 3 of these goalies are deserving of the award though.
