For comparisons sake:
"ODBJr has caught ZERO touchdowns v.s. ranked opponents in the last 2 years and 2 v.s. conference opponents. That's it."
"Jarvis Landry had 7 TDs v.s. ranked opponents the past two seasons and 8 against conference opponents. ODB's #s pale in comparison."
- Jake, from...
If Jarvis Landry drops due to his 4.77 40 some team is getting an amazing player at a discount. Hope it's the Titans. Don't need a WR, don't really care. He's worth taking.
Keith Wenning is pretty good you guys.
Love reading that NFL teams have all the QB's all over the place, though. Makes you feel better about liking guys the media doesn't, because the NFL definitely doesn't have these guys ranked like the media does.
Good article with similar view of Thomas as I have
http://draftbreakdown.com/the-case-for-logan-thomas/
Why do you hate Thomas so much? His repuation is far from what is should be.
Beast. I hate the 40 though. Guys who are way faster than other guys on the field often time way slower than other guys all because of technique. It's a sham if you believe 40 times = speed at all. In terms of a few tenths of a second. Obviously 4.3 is much different than 5.1.
Oh, and I can't believe Mayock likes McCarron. McCarron and Mettenberger came from very similar situations, but Mett is superior at everything. Just don't get it.
I'm assuming he's gone.
Ask yourself this: Is Blake Bortles that much more accurate at any point of the field than Thomas? I say not in any capacity that matters. They have similar positives, too. I'll give the mental game edge to Bortles. Obviously Bortles is more polished for the NFL at this...
Lmao didn't hear that. Who was he talking about?
I was just reading that apparently the Raiders organization really likes Mettenberger. I hope that's a smoke screen lol. Unless they take say Evans at 5 to help him out, that is the least appealing job for a rookie QB.
Tre Mason met with Titans. Said he's been consistently running 4.3's.
That's fine and dandy, but he seems to me to lose that speed on long runs. Still crazy quick through the hole when he decides to go though. I'd like him with the Titans if he was the lead and Greene was the compliment.
True, but Watkins is rare, and could that just be a smokescreen?
When Long is back obviously he'll be the LT, and Barksdale, though perhaps average, in my opinion at least isn't in need of an upgrade and if they do think they need to, they can still get someone in the 2nd rounds. Unless it's...
Mack won't go #1 no matter what Mayock says lol. Rest is plausible. Don't see why Rams need a T though. Long will be back and Barksdale was good for them.
