Way better than Ebron; he's an actual athletic freak, this guy's measurables make Ebron's look bad lol.
Bosox, as for Hooker, I totally agree. I think the only reason he isn't a top 5 pick right now is because he hasn't worked out. I bet he would tore that combine up. Love the kid.
Also, My...
With all the big name safeties this year (Hooker, Adams, Peppers, Baker, Melifonwu, etc), there's a couple really good rangy FS's flying under the radar. I like Marcus Williams from Utah a lot, first round grade on him. I like Tedric Thompson from Colorado too. Probably as a 2nd rounder. Not...
One thing I wanna say about Dobbs; his receivers absolutely sucked. His best target was Kamara. I guess 82 isn't bad. But damn no one made plays for him.
Haha damn.
For the first year ever I'm doing a big board, I'm so behind in lineman though I probably won't officially "finish" it, but I've got quite a few guys graded. I'll post once I'm satisfied with it.
Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't sold on Trubisky. I just don't get the...
Agreed man. Hooker is my #1 prospect. A few months ago I posted here that he was my fave prospect ever, and that hasn't changed. I love me some Hooker. Pun intended.
Honestly, I keep going back and fourth with Trubisky. I like a lot of his game, I just don't see the "it" factor with him. My head tells me he's probably the most likely to succeed though. These QB rankings are from two weeks ago, still gonna do one more update before the draft I think.
I'm not worried about the ball velocity at all guys. Watch the damn tape, he can make all the throws. Those ball velocity test can vary wildly. QB1.
Also, if anyone cares, I've got Josh Dobbs > Mahomes and Trubisky.
Edit
FWIW, Mahomes threw 60 at the combine, then went on NFLN and did it...
I think Malik Hooker is the only player in this class that I would classify as 100% can't miss, gonna be the best at his position in the league kind of player. He honestly might be my top/favorite prospect ever.
Elija, go check out the McDowell vs. BYU game. This game shows the inconsistency we've been hearing about. There's a handful of plays where he gets straight up dominated by that center.. I love the potential but there are some red flags.
Hot damn is Malik McDowell a stud. I've read some question his effort later in the year and that he turns it on and off, but his potential is huge. Scouting DL isn't my forte, but he looks like he can reach a Fletcher Cox type level of disruptive.
Teagz I followed up with the Tunsil match up too and was disappointed again. It was more of the same against LSU. a couple splash plays, but a common theme I noticed is most of his big plays are either when he lines up inside and has a plus match up against a guard, or is left unblocked.
Well fellas, I just watched Myles Garrett vs. Cam Robinson, both the 2016 matchup and the 2015 matchup and Garrett managed 1 sack, and basically 0 impact on either game.
This is the first tape I've watched of either of them.. Is Cam Robinson THAT good, or is Garrett being overrated?
Hey Titans bro lol
I'd like to see them take Malik Hooker or Marshon Lattimore. Need secondary help big time. I couldn't blame them if they want to take Mike Williams or Corey Davis either.
What about you?
Teagz, I agree with you that Watson is #1. I do like Trubisky and Kizer as well though, if I needed a QB I'd gladly take any of the three.
Trubisky reminds me of an actually good version of Jake Locker. All the physical traits are there, plus he has consistent accuracy and pocket presence.
That's pretty much my outlook too. He'll be a real good #2, if not a solid #1. If I'm drafting a cornerback in the first round though I'd like him to have better ball skills and be a bit more of a playmaker. And I agree that he could be a liability deep at times, especially when he's playing...
