remember when you all laughed at Orlando's package....

broke ass Bynum
broke ass Dwight
Iggy is good, but Vucevic, Harkless, Aflalo, picks, maybe even Harrington could be dealt next season...

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]Cavaliers also get a second round pick in trade.[/background]

I like it for the Cavs. Speights and Ellington are decent pickups. Grizz save some bucks but their bench is incredibly thin now.

The Cavs still have 12+ million in expirings with Walton, Gibson and Miles to do this to another team close to the luxary tax as well. I think we still have some cap space too.

I understand the salary part of it but why give up the first?

Because the Cavs were one of the few teams who could adsorb players into their cap space, and probably forced the pick into the deal.

Jon Leuer rated well in Hollinger's PER pre-draft rankings as well last year.

Hollinger's Billy Beane approach to basketball is going to fail completely if they allow him to do so lol.

This had little to do with Hollinger, they just happened to get a guy he likes in a salary dump driven by ownership.

Not to mention he isn't the GM.

Some guy on another board who has a small history of being right on things since Benson bought the team posted this a few weeks back. Not sure if it's real or not.

Looks like a secondary logo though.

yea if thats a logo, it has to be a secondary. its a good sign that the primary may be pretty solid tho.
