The replacements:

Because of the LFL's perception that it is that much more critical for us to hire officiating crews that are competent, not only for the credibility of our game but to keep our athletes safer. Due to several on-field incompetent officiating we chose to part ways with a couple crews which apparently are now officiating in the NFL. We have a lot of repsect for our officials but we felt the officiating was not in line with our expectations.

We have not made public comment to date because we felt it was not our place to do so. However in light of tonight's event, we felt it was only fair that NFL fans knew the truth as to who are officiating these games.

NFL statement is out on the Packers-Seahawks ending. Reading through it now.[/background]

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]
NFL: "The result of the game is final"[/background]

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]
NFL: "The NFL officiating department reviewed the video today and supports the the decision not to overturn the on-field ruling."[/background]

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]
Statement does say that offensive pass interference should've been called on Golden Tate, but leans on simultaneous catch to support the TD.[/background]

[background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]
If anyone was looking for contrition or an apologetic tone, it's not in this statement. Simply a review of the rules, and the ruling.[/background]

Typical NFL bullshit
I wouldn't expect them to bash the replacements anyways
But like someone said in the last page, the real refs were nowhere near perfect. They had their share of missed calls as well
However, this is absolute bullshit. I know there aren't any Pack fans on here, but imagine if that was your team that just got fucked on primetime like that. I don't understand why penalties aren't reviewable either. I don't understand why anything isn't reviewable, if something questionable happens in game, the coaches players and fans all deserve clarification to fix any errors that may have happened, especially ones as crucial as last night.
NFL's review system has been fucked up, the replacements are just forced to do their best under the system. If we all know they're gonna make mistakes, lets not just sit here and fucking scratch our heads about it. The NFL should do their best to allow the replacements to fix their mistakes
Im putting this all on the NFL. The replacements did what they were able to do in the situation

I wonder if the league has the balls to fine the players for their twitter comments.

Refs still have little to no bargaining control in the CBA, even with these fuckups

Refs should split in between with Goodell's price and their price and fucking ref the games. They don't have any leverage

He's a boss. He's probably doing dead lifting 700 pounds right now while preparing his new drawn out penalty calls.

Who is the black ref that always adds emphasis to whichever side committed the penalty? I like that guy.
