I guess I'll ask.

Nash- 38
Kobe- 33
Gasol- 32
Blake- 32
Jamison- 36
Artest- 32

How is this situation really any better than the Orlando situation like two years from now? I guess Dwight could be blinded and commit long term, but who knows.
they can win a championship with that team. they could win maybe two before the players start considering retirement(im not saying they will..). la also will not let losing seasons happen. changes will always be made and they have the pocketbook to do so.

I don't think I really agree. Aside from Gasol, most of those guys are probably close to done. Kobe's talking about retirement two years from now, right? Nash and Jamison are old as shit.

When those guys leave the game, that Lakers team will be a bad team atleast for a while.

I find it sad that i'm just only 5 years younger than Hennigan and he's making deals like this.

but the fact they could win one or two championships in his first few seasons on the team will make a few losing seasons worth it. this could be his team in two seasons too.

How is it an awful trade for the Nuggets? Iggy>Afflalo defensively. They didnt give up much, and they get Iggy, who is an All Star type player.

iggy has the name power but the difference between arron and iggy isnt much at this point. i still like this for the nuggets though because the size they now have.

Sometimes it's not about overall talent... They added to their logjam at SF. Until they trade Chandler or Gallo I think this is a bad deal for Denver

Afflalo is better. The only rationale here is that they're dumping Al Harrigton, but it's not as if they're going to have cap space anytime soon. Also gave up a first.

Iggy is the 2nd best wing defender in the league behind Lebron.

Only thing Arron does better is score and he shot a shot more a game. Iggy is a elite defender and elite finisher on the break.

What is Arron afflalo elite at?

If you had to choose between Iggy & Arron you're not taking arron.
