Any list that leaves Tony Romo out of the top 10 is just wrong. He's a top 10 QB and it isn't debatable.

Stop being fucking trolls and leaving Romo out. It's Cowboy hate and that's all there is to it. There is no statistical backing to put either Cutler or Schaub ahead of him and even Stafford is arguable. The kid had one good season. Relax on ranking him so high for a moment.

It's not Cowboys hate lol. I actually like the Cowboys. However, with that being said, Tony is number 1 through 10 on my list man, as I posted above. I'd take Romo 10 times before I'd take Brady or Rodgers. And that's the truth.

Nobody is hating on Romo because he's a Cowboy, they're hating on Romo because teams led by him consistently under-achieve despite having more than enough to go deep into the playoffs year in and year out.

The guy averages 25 touchdowns and a little over 10 interceptions a year, and that's including the year he only played in 6 games (and he missed 3 one year as well). All 13 of those games and we're looking at 30 TDs and maybe 12 INTs average, and that's a remarkable statistic.

This team underachieves because of its defense and horrible coaching. Tony Romo ALWAYS plays great. He has bad moments in some games, but rarely does he play shitty. The guy is an absolutely remarkable quarterback who's under-appreciated because of one fumbled snap.

They kind of are, you know. The great QBs have great stats. You don't win games without being great statistically unless you're Flacco or Smith. It just doesn't happen in today's league.

Stats are the most important thing when when measuring almost anything in pro sports, I'm not sure how anyone could actually debate that. All sports are based on statistics. People can interpret them how they want, but they're the basis of everything.

The most important thing in measuring anything in pro sports in Championships. That's what they play the sport for lol. To win. Of course some guys just don't have the team around them win a championship, or have an excellent team around them, so that has to be considered as well. Stats are misleading though. Cam Newton put up big stats because they were always losing and had to pass a lot. Fit right into his hands. Half his stats were in garbage time. Stats don't paint the picture. Who cares if Brady threw 50 TD's that year, they didn't win, so those stats don't mean shit, because they didn't accomplish what the goal was. Tom wasn't playing in the NFL to throw 50 TD's in a season, he was playing because he loves football and wants to win.

Now if you really want to be a smart ass, you can call Championships a stat, but it's sooooo different than measuring a players stats.

Also, another thing about stats is the Chargers. They had the best offense and defense statistically and still didn't make the playoffs. Stats are misleading.

Football is a team sport, you can't discredit one players stats because they didn't get a ring. There are so many other factors in a football game that effect the outcome that you can't just say the stats don't mean anything if the ultimate goal isn't reached.

Even QB, the most important position on the field, only plays one side of the ball. They can throw 5 TDs and no picks in a game and still not win. Does that mean that the stats aren't impressive because the defense couldn't stop a nosebleed? (thanks Bart)

And if Marino would have won at least one SB, he'd be known as the best QB ever. However he didn't, so he's only top 10. Also, Romo is not even close to Marino lol
