lol at the pau hate

houston obviously would have dragic if they traded lowry for pau
because lowry's contract is so low, it's hard to get good value for him

houston needs a big, a go-to scorer. McHale would use him properly

Lowry's contract isn't even that low. He makes about 6 million a year...

I don't want Pau. I want tough. Tough is not Pau Gasol. That last thing this team needs is a fucking pussy in the post.

Yeah let's not get an elite big man.

:shaq:
He's going to be 33 next season and just got done with a horse's ass of a season. Why trade an up-and-coming young PG for him when he's gonna be done in 2-3 years.

Also, elite? No.

Dwight
Aldridge
Love
Duncan
Bynum

There's your elite. Gasol ain't on there.

Aldridge? Really? Why does everyone think he's so good? Pau shits on him.

If you think Duncan is still an ELITE big man, but yet Pau isn't, I don't know what to tell you.

To be honest, I figured there'd be major backlash if I withheld Duncan from the list, so I put him there.

Pau has done nothing of note this season. Nothing that puts him in an elite class. He's soft both physically and mentally. I'm not interested in the last 2-3 years of his career.

I think that Pau >>>> Lowry. But at the same time, don't really see the Rockets going anywhere with Pau. They should look for a younger piece if possible. If the Rockets were a piece away though, Pau for Lowry would be a no brainer.

You hit the nail on the head. Unless you're one player away from a title, you don't trade a developing asset for a player at the end of his career.

Aldridge is one of the most overrated/overhyped players in the NBA this season.

Bware, you are really stupid. Lowry is garbage. Gasol is a steal for the Rockets.

And more, I'm not sure how much of an upgrade Lowry is over Sessions, especially when it's Jordan Hillbas the new PF

I'll take Bynum-Pau-MWP-Kobe-Sessions over Bynum-Hill-WP-KB-Lowry any day.

lowry isn't garbage lol. He aint no superstar or anything. But he is a decent PG. Much better than Sessions. But yea a Lowry for Pau trade would be horrible

He is a bit better than Sessions, but what bosox was saying was that the difference between Lowry and Sessions isn't even close to the difference in Pau and Jordan Hill.

More importantly the Rockets do have Goran Dragic so it's not like they can't afford to give away Lowry. If they get Gasol they're a playoff team easily next year.

i wouldn't call lowry a 'developing asset' either. he's not going to get much better.

Can't wait until the season is over so I can do the positional rankings again.
