The Raiders are switching to zone-blocking scheme people are saying and Mcfadden isn't very good in it i guess. So, reportedly the raiders have mcfadden open for trade possibly and will go with bush.

Well damn. If they get rid of McFadden, the chances that they draft Doug Martin (a back TOTALLY fit for a zone blocking scheme) are pretty good IMO.

[font="Helvetica][size="2"]Second, keep in mind that teams must preserve at least $5 millionto sign their rookie class. The more picks, the more cap space needed.[/size][/font]

So yeah, lots of guys that might have to go. If you go to not re-sign someone, its this year, not the next. And Wallace gets 1st and 3rd round compensation. If im Pittsburgh, i'd consider it.

I'd keep Wallace over every single player you mentioned.

Hampton, Farrior, Foote, and Starks are all getting up there in age and Wallce is just simply better than Mendenhall, Brown, Gay and Miller.

They would let all of those guys go before Wallace.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that due to the CBA.. the rest of the money not spent in 2011 will carry over into 2012. Not sure if 100% true.

After a recent conversation with Dwayne Bowe, SI.com's Jim Trotter believes the free agent wants to stay with the Chiefs if the contract is right.
Bowe is likely seeking a deal similar to Santonio Holmes' five-year, $45 million contract. Speculation around Kansas City is that the Chiefs will sign one of Bowe or CB Brandon Carr to a long-term deal and use the franchise tag on the other. Trotter believes the Chiefs are certain to tag Bowe if a deal can't be worked out.
