I've watched Burfict a few times this season, and I"m not seeing all the hype. He seems REAL SLOW IMO.

Plus the whole attitude thing.
He gets a lot of hype because he's a mean and violent football player. The guy needs a lot of work on the technical aspect of his game, because he was just getting by in college with pure ability and little technique. Teams exposed him this year by using his over aggressiveness against him.

I'd love to get Vontaze next to DJ and Tamba and Houston. We need that type of anger on our defense.

Or do they want Griffin, and know they can get him at pick 2 or 3? Just something to think about lol. Not saying it's true.

They could probably get him much later than 2 or 3.

The latest Griffin will get to is 8, which is unlikely.
With Cleveland possibly at 4, Washington, and Miami possible getting 5, no way he gets passed there.

I don't see him getting past 4. Either the Browns are going to take him, or trade down to someone who wants him.

I could see him getting to 5, myself. But that's the latest. I don't see him being there "much later" than 2-3. Maybe a pick or two at the most.

Oh, and just letting everyone know, Kirk Cousins will be a top 40 pick. Has a good arm, is accurate, pretty smart, and has a lot of experience in a pro system. My first bold guess.
I can't figure out why nobody is talking about him. He's not an elite prospect, but he is definitely underrated.

It was just because of the Luck/Barkley/Griffin hype. Cousins has all the tools, and should be able to step in right away, playing in the system he did. He's not an elite prospect, but still a very good one. I could see him making a Dalton-like climb, and going in the top 40, like I said.

Jarrett Boykin and Isaiah Pead are two guys that don't get enough attention, as well.

Both are probably 5th round prospects right now. They would be huge steals at that point IMO.

It's not easy telling a bunch of professional football players to tank a game for a 22 year old quarterback..

I like Pead as well. From what I've heard though, he's in the 3rd-4th round talks.

Well, I just assumed considering you think he'll be top 40, and I'm not sure how many other people feel that way. He's never left a mark on games when I've watched. I don't go away feeling like he's that good. Not sure the numbers show it but I've always felt like he's inconsistent with his accuracy.
How you can come out of watching a game of his and being impressed baffles me. The more I watch the more I like him.

Yeah, they better hope Gabbert plays well.

Well, I don't like basing my odds on that. Personally.

As for the Pead discussions, I do agree with the fact he's underrated. He has decent speed, a pretty solid burst, and he has shown good hands for the Bearcats. Definitely worth a 3rd-4th round gamble.

Hurricane or Mooche (although Mooche and I kind of already discussed this), can one of you tell me why Keshawn Martin is only projected as a 5th rounder?
While watching Cousins, I've been very impressed with him. Sure he's not big, but he is so quick and shifty, and has surprisingly good hands and leaping ability. His routes aren't bad either, but could use some work. He's so good on those little screens, but can push the ball down the field. Plus, added value as an impact return man. From what I've seen, he should be a 4th, if not higher. Can someone tell me why he's only projected to be a 6th?

Would not draft Alshon Jeffery. Dude is fucking fat. Clearly doesn't keep his weight under control.

Far left.

No..

He came into the year greatly out of shape. That doesn't help your draft stock when this year was to mainly prove to NFL scouts you can get separation at the next level.
