Those teams are reportedly willing to trade for him without the extension...

Rebuilding teams aren't trying to swap players, they want a package back to rebuild their roster

Trading for Pau does nothing for Orlando or New Orleans because they're too old to build a team around, Lamar isn't a player you can building around, and you can't build a team with Bynum as the centerpiece because he hasn't proven he can stay healthy.

Face it, the Lakers simply don't have attractive pieces for rebuilding teams and there is a 0% chance that CP3 or Dwight end up in a Laker uni via trade.
i just explained what i meant

but to say 0% is foolish

I'm going Skip Bayless right now.

Neither of them ends up with the Lakers via trade, book it.

but if paul doesnt want to sign long term in oakland, why would they trade Curry?
of course they'd take Curry

im talking about the field being narrow because of the extensions
no team is going to do what NJ did and trade for a star without knowing 100% they're staying
Because the Warriors have already told they are willing to rent Paul for a season in hopes of convincing him to resign with them. They have a new owner who is itching bigtime to make a huge move.

And how could you say that no team will trade for a star without an extension when there are 1) a number of reports saying a few teams would 2) New Jersey just did it last year like you said. Not to even mention I called Golden State being interested in trading for Chris two days before the media reported it.

the thunder are one of the few teams that are win now and the future. no need to trade harden for odom.
first thing that popped into my head

the george hill for odom would have been great for the spurs

some type of trade like that can definitely happen. odom is a great player you know this
underrated rebounder, pg ability, friendly contract

29 other teams would love him

odom is actually a great player, that i agree on. but hes not going to help a rebuilding team one bit. you need to take your homer glasses off lol. lakers will not trade for neither cp3 or d12.

Mexi, it's not happening

I'm going all Stephen A. Smith right now, STOP IT.

Go back to being all over Blake's nuts and start creaming in your pants about the possibility of a CP to Blake oop

Lol how are the Lakers going to get one of them?

It won't be in a trade, and you'd have to think atleast one signs an extension with his new team, if not both.

And if they don't trade for one, that means they didn't get rid of a big contract. They have over 91M in salary right now, 33M over the cap. How will they sign one???

You just fail to realize that your trade pieces aren't attractive to rebuilding teams
