That's a tough field of candidates, lol. But I did think all along that Kershaw was going to get it. He got the NL pitching triple crown: ERA, Wins, Strikeouts.

Kershaw is gonna be a filthy pitcher for a while.

his curve was too nasty that it would fool umps and he never got it called for strikes
so he started working on his slider, and now it might be the best pitch in baseball

but he still throws the occasional curve to jelly leg the batter

i cant wait til he improves the changeup
what he does now is pretty much 2 pitches. fastball/slider

Man I wish my team had a young stud pitcher, it gives a team a great opportunity to make the playoffs. Obviously they didnt make it, but once you have a great ace, the other aspects of the team are much easier to obtain to be competitive.

be patient :)

as for kershaw, yes
it's awesome having an ace
dodgers havent had a true ace since kevin brown

dodgers are lucky to be in a shitty division. they can compete next year

Wheeler and Harvey have great upside. They're 2-3 years away but still good sign down the road.

Yea, they do but theyre not sure fire prospects. Its just interesting to have a guy with loads of potential and ranked really high. Wheeler and Harvey look to be very good, but a little while away.

Sure-fire prospects don't exist. There have been so many hyped prospects that have just never panned out. Bryce Harper is considered a sure-fire prospect but he could just as easily get to The Show and be completely terrible.

Strasburg is/was surefire, he just has to stay healthy.

No such thing. He was an elite prospect who lived up to the hype, there have been guys who graded out as elite prospects who didn't live up to the hype.

He won't though (Harper).
I don't think he'll bust either, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did. His personality just comes off as a Ryan Leaf type to me, and that could ruin him like it did Leaf.
