He probably doesn't have much trade value around the league. You might get a late round pick, if that.. The Broncos clearly don't think he's the future of the franchise, so just cut him. He's not worth it to keep around as a 3rd stringer if the fans are going to continue to beg for him, get on management or criticize a coach just because they won't play Tebow.

Remember it was McDaniels who brought this mess upon us, He's stuck with us for another 4 more years.

That's exactly why the current front office just should get rid of him. They don't owe Tebow anything, they aren't the ones who drafted him.

Orton Doesn't Care Where Fans Stand On Broncos QB Debate

NFL.com - Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton doesn't care that fans chanted for backup Tim Tebow during the team's season-opening loss to the Raiders on Monday night.

Orton grew testy when asked if he felt any added pressure with the fans booing him and calling for Tebow to take his job.

"No, not at all," Orton said. "I'm not going to sit here and waste my time answering questions about it, to be honest with you. Until Coach (John) Fox comes to me, he's the only one that I'm going to listen to. So, I'd rather you guys not waste my time with the questions because I'm not going to answer them."

Orton said the contingent of fans voicing their disapproval don't bother him.

"I just look at it like I don't care," he said. "(Fox's) opinion and my teammates' opinions will always be the ones that matter."
Give him some Jack Daniels!!!!

Orton is that dude though for staying composed while the crowd is chanting the 3rd string QBs name.
That shit takes some mental toughness.

Fans Plan Pro-Tebow Billboards

ESPN.com - A group of Broncos fans plan to purchase billboards in Denver, calling for the team to bench quarterback Kyle Orton and play Tim Tebow instead.

"We believe in Coach [John] Fox. We're just tired of Kyle Orton ," Jesse Oaks said.

"We were sitting around after Fox said he didn't hear the chants for (Tim) Tebow and we figured if he's deaf, we hope he's not blind."

Oaks told the newspapers that he and seven other friends were saving up money to attend the Super Bowl in Indianapolis after this season but came up with a different way to spend the money after watching Denver's season-opening loss to the Raiders.

He was told it would cost $10,000 to purchase space on two billboards in Denver.
You gotta be kidding me.

Tebow Thanks Fans, Will Wait His Turn

ESPN.com - Tim Tebow said Thursday that while he's honored his fans are cheering for him to take over as the Broncos' quarterback, he trusts his coach and will bide his time without complaint.

"Well, I guess I appreciate the support, you know, but we got people in charge here that we trust and (I) trust they're going to do the right thing," Tebow said.

That's what happens when you don't give a dude the chance to prove himself. He shows up in games and thats where it counts.

I don't give a fuck what John Fox thinks, I saw the dude play 3 games last season and he played well enough to deserve a shot.
Going 1-3 as a starter (the only victory coming against one of the worst pass defenses in recent NFL history) and posting a 77 rating -- while acceptable for a rookie passer -- is hardly "showing up." And his rating probably shouldn't have been that good; his touchdown pass to Brandon Lloyd in the Oakland game was so mindbogglingly improbable that it had to be divinely assisted.

... I'd say being third string to Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn -- especially Quinn -- speaks volume about Tebow's NFL preparedness.

Fox has made the right decision.

You did a good job ignoring the positives of what Tebow did...

And once again... Your stats are wrong: he was 1-2. You point out that his win was vs the Texans, but you didn't mention that his losses were @ Oakland (who swept the division) and vs the Chargers who were #1 in offense and defense last year.

He had 66 rushing yards per game, a rushing TD in all three games. Tell me that doesn't impact the game. I don't think 4 TDs to 3 INT is too shabby, either.

I don't get the Tebow hate...

I feel really bad that a small group of Broncos fans are making it look like all Broncos fans feel this way.... because thats whats starting to happen. And yet I know there's a large group of Bronco's fans (some of which I know) who hate Tebow with a burning passion.

All this shit isnt gonna go away until he plays and does very well or plays very badly. Thats what it comes down to it. I just want to see him play and prove himself because I think he deserves that at least.

I think fans know that Tebow isn't ready, but it brings at least some excitement. The franchise has been having rough times for quite some time now, and with Orton not being much more than a solid all-around QB, the fans want some kind of excitement. Orton gives them the best chance to win, but Tebow would bring some fun into watching games, even if they are losses. I don't think we'll see him play, and it's too bad for Orton that fans look at him this way.

We should let all third stringers in the NFL get a chance. It will definitely make our teams better

Yea a third stringer who went 20-31 in the preseason with a 108 QB rating.

A 3rd stringer who revitalized that team and made them actually competitive at the end of the year.

A 3rd stringer who has proven himself to be a winner.

was he playing against Starters in preseason or the 2nd & 3rd string teams?

Numbers can be very deceiving.
