Interested to see how we play with Betemit tonight.
JV is going, hopefully that means a nice win.

I'm not expecting a ton out of him, yeah he is a nice upgrade compared to Inge & Kelly but he's definitely not a star player that will do huge things. Hopefully Justin Verlander can rebound after the last poor outing.

Not expecting a star player either lol.
But much like Peralta, he could thrive in the bottom of the lineup.
I'll be happy as fuck with like .270 out of him.

He's hitting .281 on the year with limited playing time so hopefully he can keep it there or at least like you said .270. That would be rather noticeable difference that would help the team.

Dammit. I keep losing track of time. I need to get my JV Jersey on. He's 1-0 so far with it *knock on wood*

Also called it that Betemit would get a hit in his 1st game. 3 run lead for JV. I'm liking it.

Just great to see that. When guys swing it like that, aka golf it, it always amazes me. Takes absolute strength to pull that off, consistently.

Nice and easy win tonight. Cruise control with JV but that's nothing new. The part that I was surprised about is that he struck out Thome 3 times. Thome has pretty much controlled JV in his career. Nice to see him change that. 2-0 with the JV Jersey :D

Cylander with another nice outing.
Sole possession of 1st.
And we got more production out of Wilson then we got all season from Inge.

Good day for Detroit fans lol.

Chris Singleton on ESPN made a complete CLOWN of himself

he said that Kershaw's stuff isnt as "filthy" as Lincecum, and that he has just surpassed Hiroki Kuorda and Chad Billingsley as the Dodgers #1. He compares him more to Matt Cain as a solid young pitcher with good stuff

gotta be fucking kidding me

Kershaw leads all starters in K/9 with 10.3. Lincecum's best year was 10.5. Kershaw's could still rise, and probably will. he's a K machine

Kershaw has about 20 more K's than Lincecum this year, but he's not "as filthy". Leads the F'ing majors in K's
what a crock

Kershaw is one of 5 pitchers with a sub-ERA since 2009.(Felix, Halladay, Carpenter, Lee are the others. all have a Cy Young)

just amazes me how stupid he is. im boiling

Don't know why you would go to an ESPN analyst for opinions on players. Most of the guys there think wins is the most telling stat for a pitcher.

According to a guy from ESPN we are the front runner for Aaron Harang.
That'd be dope.
