Granderson with two homers, Jeter with two hits, and CC doing work

This is how we should be playing against teams like this

Against teams like this? Jeter has no business getting hits off any teams, let alone a division leader.

You act like Jeter is some scrub lol

Not to mention your hot streak was a complete fluke and you guys won't make the playoffs

He's a singles hitter hitting .260 on the back end of his career with no sign of getting better. So yeah..

So a complete fluke team is in the lead, a team you also said was terrible earlier in the year (the Tigers) is in 2nd. Any more great predictions from the prophet?

Most likely neither the Indians nor the Tigers will make the playoffs. I say the White Sox come back and take it.

I don't believe I ever said they were terrible, I said they weren't a playoff team.

If not for the Twins and the White Sox completely falling off neither the Indians or the Tigers would be looking at a playoff spot

If not for the Red Sox 2-10 start, they would have a substantial lead over the Yankees, your point?

A 2-10 start is no different than going through a 2-10 stint during the middle of the season, it's just under a microscope because it's the beginning of the season. Evey team goes through a rough patch during the season.

Big difference between that and underachieving for the whole year

No, it's simply me making an excuse for why the Yankees are in first when they shouldn't be like you did with the Indians.

If the Red Sox were 1-8 against us, instead of the other way around, we'd be up by 8 games at minimum.

"If" is a lovely word, isn't it?

Former Yankee great Zach McAlister making his MLB debut on Thursday.. Hopefully he does enough to keep Fausto on the DL or Mitch Talbot released..

Wtf is Joe West doing? Ejecting players and coaches for no reason? Unbelievable. Verlander got ejected, Jim Leyland got ejected, and I think Rick Porcello did as well. Wtf!?

Lester's injury better not be too serious...

Buchholz is injured, and Lester is now too. Thankfully we have Beckett.
