I'm gonna say this about the 4 QBs listed in the topic though.

Everybody hated the Locker pick, but from what i've seen on other forums.

Alot of people think hes the best QB in this class, do I see it? Not yet.

Can it happen? Maybe.

I think the Gabbert vs Locker rivalry will be a good one though.
Honest question.

Do you think Dalton will be as good as Palmer? Worse? Better? I just want to cut down on them INT's. We gave up about 100 points on offense.

There is this guy on this other forum I'm on who is an area scout for the Bengals...

I don't think he'll be as good especially for the first little bit, but eventually he could be there. He could be better than the Palmer we have seen the last 2 seasons, that Palmer was not very good.

Hmmm maybe it wasn't the past 2 seasons, but last season he was bad, and it seems like some other team fairly recent he was meh.

Who is this guy you are talking about, lol!? I need to talk with that guy.

I was just looking at this..

Stength: Carson Palmer is Tall, Muscular, Strong Arm, Good Touch, Quick Decisions, and has enough Foot Speed to evade tacklers.
Weakness:
Carson Palmer appears prone to Interceptions and can be Inaccurate at times. Carson Palmer only had a few great games in college.

His numbers in 2009 were.....

3,094 yards
60.5 completion %
21 TD's
13 INT's
QB rating 83.6
193.4 yards a game

I think that's average, if anything. Cedric Benson had a HUGE year in 2009.

That's what I'm hoping Dalton doesn't do.

Strengths:
-Good arm strength
-Quick release
-Accurate thrower
-Smart; protects the football
-Mobile with scrambling ability
-Intelligent and tough
-Proven leader, passion for the game
-Winner at collegiate level
-Durable, experienced 4-year starter

Weaknesses:
-Height is not ideal
-Lacks elite characteristics
-Product of spread offense
-Release point needs to be adjusted
-Not many games against top competition
-Footwork needs improvement

Summary:
Andy Dalton had a terrific collegiate career that included helping TCU not only to a BCS bowl (Rose) win, but in the bigger picture, played a part in the program joining the "Big Six" fraternity as a future member of the Big East. He put up solid if not spectacular statistics most of his career, really peaking as a senior with by far his best season on paper. More importantly he kept improving - and winning.

I don't see Gabbert being successful in the NFL. That is all.

I was trying to find the video of ponder where he was scrambling and he only threw the ball like five yards, but he was trying to throw the ball to someone farther down the field. I think it was in his last game actually this year.

Didn't even bring Ponder into it... I think Ponder will do good after being under the wing of a player like McNabb or a Veteran QB.

Like I explained with Gabbert.

Vikings aren't going to bring in a Veteran QB.

McNabb is going to want starter money. Vikings will be paying Ponder a hefty amount at #12 overall.

You overrate Ponder badly.

Where as to Gabbert, unlike Ponder. Actually has, ALL THE TOOLS.

I was trying to find the one where FSU needed a TD to win, they were on the goalline, and Ponder fumbled and cost them the game.
