It's too bad that it's 2011 and he's the third best PG in the league...
I was just supporting my point that Paul would be the 2nd best player in the league if he returned to 2008/09 perfomance.

Durant is also 22 when Wade is 29. Like people above me have said, we're only a few years away from him being the face of the league. While he's not a great defender, he's very underrated.
So because he's younger he's the better player right now? Doesn't make much sense.

Lol, do I really need to repost this?

CP shot a better percentage, in a off scoring year.
CP shot a much higher three point percentage.
CP shot a higher free throw percentage.
CP pulled down more rebounds.
Deron handed out .5 more assists than Chris, in two more minutes per game.
CP doubled Deron in steals per game.
CP averaged more than one less turnover per game.
CP averaged less fouls per game.
CP had a higher eff rating.
CP had a higher per rating. (CP is 6th overall, Deron 20th)
CP had a higher ts%.
CP had a higher assist ratio.
CP had a lower turnover ratio. (much lower)
CP had a less usage %. (so he's doing all this, while being used less? damn)
Deron had a higher offensive rebound rate.
CP had a higher defensive rebound rate.
CP had a higher rebound rate.
CP had a higher value rating. (548 to 375)
CP added nearly six more wins to his team.
CP is a better man to man defender.
CP is a better team defender.
1- CP
2- DWill
3- Rose

If we were talking about who the better player is gonna be in a few years or who was better at 22, that would be a nice argument. Unfortunately, we're talking about right now and Wade is easily the better player

No just stating a fact. I think he's a better player and I gurantee the majority of America agrees with me.

But the reason he's getting the hype is because of how he put the team on his back during the season and led them to the best record in the league. 21 win improvement or something like that.
It was 21. However, I feel like what someone said the other day is true. If you're not Heat, Celtics, Lakers, Derrick Rose or Blake Griffin, ESPN doesn't care about you.

Be honest. Would you think this if Williams wasn't on the Nets?
1. Chris Paul
2. Deron Williams
3. Rajon Rondo
4. Steve Nash
5. Derrick Rose

That was Dwill's Top 5 pg's in nov I searched Deron Williams and posts by Dwill to find it lol.

Well that's a true statement. Bad teams in small markets don't sell. But Rose had a tremendous year. I think it was a bit unfair for people to hand him the MVP two months before the season was over, but that doesn't mean he didn't have a great season.

You're saying that things can't change from November to April? DWill easily outperformed CP3 on both sides of the ball this year. He still averaged more points and assists than Paul with bad wrists.

And CP3 had a bad knee but of course you fail to mention that haha. Paul was a much more efficient player. You still fail to acknowledge Williams' bad turnover amount.

I want some statistics for that last part.

BC said it well on the last page, there isn't much KD can do that Wade can't, aside from shooting the ball which leads to the slight edge he has on him in scoring.

Wade gets overlooked now, since he's playing alongside the best player in the world.

Not really.

Still waiting for that first playoff win in ten years?

What a joke.
do you hear yourself? You had to say 10 years to justify your team. How about

"Still waiting for that first playoff appearance in 4 years?"
