back to the Kobe reference, he slightly edged out Rose in PPG whiles playing around 4 minutes less ( on average ) defense was similar, Rose won in assist ( as a PG ) and the rebounding wasn't too different, so how is Kobe being hushed, whiles Rose is being called the MVP. Why isn't Kobe in the conversation? If Rose were to win anything, it should be an MIP ( Most Improved ). He's overrated. I love D-Rose, but he's overrated.

Thibodeau is the reason they play so well on the court. Without his gameplanning they'd be nothing.

Nobody outside of him and deng can even create their shot. Not to mention he may plays with the worst starting 2 guard in the nba. Rose also lead Chicago to 1st place in the east and a 60 win season with Joakim and Booz missing over 60 games combined. And even with Kobe edging out rose in PPG. It should be mentioned that Bean shot over 42 more attempts than rose and averages more shot attempts a game than rose. The MVP race this year was always a race between Bron/Dirk/Rose/D12

And kobe's not being mentioned because he's playing with Pau, LO, Ron, and Drew. Bron has more of a case than kobe but they wont give it to him because he plays with 2 all stars.

Thibodeau is the reason they play so well on the court. Without his gameplanning they'd be nothing.

Look at their roster when Boozer and Noah was injured. Rose has carried that team all season long, with and without those two. Yes, the hiring of Thibodeau has a lot to do with their success. But games in the NBA are decided on the court, plain and simple. It's not a chess match like it is in college. Whether Rose should be the MVP or not is a debate in its own right (James and Howard both make quality arguments), but to say Rose isn't the main reason for their success is ludicrous.

you make a strong point, but Rose is still overrated. Jim Rome gave him more head then god allows when handing out awards, I think he made up 4 random categories just so he could give DRose neck.

if you look up their numbers, i did a post last month how Deng/Noah/Booz were better than Bynum/Pau/Odom this year...
