Yes bleach. He is no great anything, yet.
Obviously he's not amazing yet, none of the rookie PGs came in the league and dominated. His numbers are similar to CP3's rookie season, he's doing better than D-Will's rookie year, similar to Rose's rookie year, etc...

You guys are talking about him like he's never gonna be anything in this league.

I'm talking about him like he's going to be closer to Russell Westbrook than Chris Paul.

He'll be great, but he won't be excellent.

Russell Westbrook is 22, I won't be surprised if he ends up being better than CP3.

He plays for the Wizards, dude should be beasting a lot more than he is.

You just took it like that saying we are making him out like he won't ever be anything. Nobody even said that. Assumptions suck bro.

Depends on what you look at, numbers or actual gameplay?

Westbrook will never have the OVERALL impact that a Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, John Stockton, etc have on a game.

You know this how? He's 22 and he's already one of the best in the NBA. The court vision will come.

Do you watch the NBA at all? Westbrook's game is all around athleticism. He's like a two guard stuck in a ones body. He'll NEVER have the court vision, awareness, control of the game, etc etc etc that the HOF point guards have. Westbrook doesn't have control of himself. He doesn't elevate the talent of his teammates like HOF points guards do. He is a great point guard, call him elite if you want, but he isn't in the same category of the real great HOF type point guards.

It's clear your talking about great point guards, I'm talking about HOF point guards. Westbrook couldn't hold Kidds, Stockston, etc jock strap. He'll put up his numbers everynight, but he will never have the impact that the greats do.

I find it funny you're comparing CP3 to Kidd and Stockton. CP3 isn't there yet, and may never be.

And you don't average 8 dimes a game off athleticism.

You average 8 "dimes" a game by having spot up shooters like Kevin Durant on your team.

Where do you think Westbrook would be with his "dimes" without Durant? I could get 5 assists per game with Durant on my team.

I won't even touch the comparing part of that, as I'm not comparing anyone but those three to Russell Westbrook. Like Brut said, assumptions suck bro.

Miami is playing pitiful right now and the refs are wearing green and white instead of black and white today, Rondo is fouling the shitta outta LeBron and the refs aren't calling shit.

We can't shoot right now though

I don't even see what this discussion is about to be honest. Westbrook is a great young PG, probably top five.

But to say he'll ever be like a Chris Paul, Steve Nash, John Stockton, Jason Kidd, etc etc is a insult to those guys.

According to AST%, which is the % of teammate's FGs a player assisted while he was on the floor, Westy's is 43.6 while CP3's is 46.5. Westbrook is obviously doing something right

When you say, "like a Chris Paul, Steve Nash..." you're putting that player in the same category as them, CP3 isn't in the same category.

Please don't compare anything Chris Paul is doing this year with anything else, he has played injured this entire season so his numbers aren't nearly on the mark of where they should be. For example, his last two healthy seasons? 52% and 55%. Past two seasons (injuries)? 45% and 47%. Again I'll say, anyone can get assists when you have Durant standing on the wing just waiting to shoot from like 28 feet. The HOF type point guards can create most of their assists, Westbrook has the luxury of basically being handed assists.

Lol at you saying Chris Paul isn't or hasn't been in the same category as Steve Nash.
