It'll be John Fox or Gruden, neither are really "Solid" hires.. yet both need new starts since Fox was horrible as of late in Carolina, and Gruden is just horrible on MNF.

Really? I like Jon Gruden on MNF, I've always thought he does a really good job, but that's just me. I'm leaning more towards John Fox becoming their head coach.

lol, wanna hear Gruden on MNF?

Example: *Player A runs for 4 yards and fumbles the ball*

Gruden: Yeah, he does a real nice job of fumbling the ball there, I really like this guy, I don't know what he has.. but he has it.

Example 2: *Favre throws INT to seal game*

Gruden: This is why I love Favre, he's always one of them QB's you can rely on in cruch time to pull through and give his team the W.

HE NEVER SAYS ANYTHING BAD! lol.

A lot of them are clueless. The Bengals had Solomon Wilcots and Harlan yesterday and they were one of the worst I've ever seen, they have absolutely no knowledge of the game whatsoever, it's over their head.

Gruden isn't very "Knowledgable" either. He won a superbowl sure, but it was with Tony Dungys team, not his. After that year, he's done nothing.

It's just a matter of time until a thread is made about Marvin Lewis.
Hopefully I'll be the one to make it about Jack Del Rios firing..... if it happens.. which I pray to god it does. :dammit:

Which the Browns owner last year said he was wanting to change the Browns, so he hired Mike Holmgren. I think they'll try to throw the barn at somebody like Gruden and end up getting burned. I know alot of Browns fans are wanting Cowher, but that isn't happening.

if Cowher does decide to coach this year its going to be Miami or Houston -- although thats just speculation on my part.

You can rip Gruden on a few dumb things he says here and there, but for the most part he says excellent stuff, whether its analyzing where blown coverage was, what a QB was seeing which made a good throw, etc. He points out that stuff which most people don't do. So you can hate him for the 3/10 dumb things he says, but I'll accept him for the 7/10 smart things he says.

And you know what... he's 15x better than Tony Kornfucker was.

Miami doesn't want Cowher, that was reported on Twitter this morning by the Miami Dolphins beat writer, and it doesn't look like Gary Kubiak is going to get canned this season. So I disagree with you there.

Also, its not that he says stupid things, its that he bites his tounge and says the most positive things because he doesn't want to get on anybodies bad side. Tony didn't have a problem with that. Also, Gruden has one of the most annoying voices in the world. Gruden rarely says smart things though.

The next coach will be Holmgren or Gruden, most likely.

Idk, I would hope it's Gruden or Holmgren himself, but I think it will be a coordinator who will become a first time coach. Just need to make sure he gets some good experienced coordinators to help him out.

Holmgren just took himself out of contention for the HC job, so that isn't happening. However they just contacted the Giants about interviewing DC Perry Fewell.

If Holmgren doesn't get who he wants, he'll be the coach.. There is no question about that.
