After Wings lost 3 straight, won their last 2. Scoring 4 in each. Still don't like seeing them fail to cash in on the Powerplays. Oddly enough, 1-9 in PPs last two games, but 5-6 in Penalty Kills. So they don't let their opponents hurt them either. Playing the Kings next.

tweeted by Dmitry Chesnokov of YAHOO! Sports, Evgeni Nabokov and SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League terminated their contract by mutual consent on Monday. "Family circumstances" was listed as the reason.

Nabokov wasn't exactly dominating during his time in the KHL. The former netminder for the San Jose Sharks sported a 3.02 goals-against-average and .888 save percentage through 22 games.

Clearly we need more details regarding this situation before making a prognosis on the 35-year-old's future in the NHL, KHL or elsewhere.
