The Jets entire defensive scheme revolves around Revis. They literally force teams to throw it his way, and he still consistently shuts down the opposing teams #1 guy. It's something the NFL has never seen before and probably won't see for a long time. Nnamdi is covering one side of the field and offenses just line up their top guy away from him. Revis is asked to do so much more than Nnamdi and he still shuts guys down game after game.

how does one go about forcing a team to throw to the so called best corner in the world?

If you watched a Jets game you would understand what they're doing. They're leaving Revis alone with the #1 WR while the other corners have safety help over the top and various other things. When no one is open, the QB is supposed to throw into one on one coverage. The only WR in one on one coverage is being covered by Revis, thus forcing the other team to throw at him.
