its only been 2 games, but usually they suck to start

both games were pretty competitive, but they were flat out more talented

i think they can sleepwalk through some wins
Im loving this team

i have never loved a laker team the way i have this one.
just amazing

Pau is boss
Artest looks so much better this year than last. everyone keep waiting for him to blow up, isnt happening
Bynum isnt even playing yet
Kobe is getting better, but he's not what he will be
Odom's still grabbing boards
and the bench. wow. the Lakers have an actual bench!

I don't like the Lakers, as much as the next guy, but you can't argue with the truth. I was just thinking that about Pau the other day. I was watching the game, against the Suns, and was like "Dang. Pau is such a beast."

Haha after thinking about it, idk I might lean towars agreeing with you. The one thing I have noticed is that even through two of the tougher teams in the West, the Lakeshow just looked... relaxed. Kobe is Kobe, Pau is Pau, but Artest looks really good out there. Everyone looks pretty relaxed out there actually. The guys are just going through the motions, it's really good to see. And yeah, the bench is really really impressing me so far... imagine when Odom gets back on the bench with Bynum back.. oooo weee. Matt Barnes, baby, Matt Barnes, that's my guy right now. Tough, hustles, hits the open shot, defends... my type of player.

Artest, Barnes, and Kobe on the floor at the same time... that's what I've really enjoyed seeing because when all three is out there the defensive intensity just picks up and you know I love me so tough hard-nosed defensive basketball.

An experienced cohesive team running the triangle with an actual bench, oh yes. I see it, I SEE IT!.. 18-0!! but well.. no. Teams like Denver (JR Smith etc.) and Phoenix (even though we already beat them) man... you know they have the ability to just explode and have those games where they're literally unstoppable. That's why I don't see it.

I know the Lakers will play tough... it's the ability of some of the other teams we're facing that has me.

i said this earlier, without the lakers, the west would be pretty wild.
no clear cut 2nd team

everyone from like 2-7 are almost equal. separated by a few games at best imo

Mavs beat the Clippers by 16 in LA. Very balanced guy. Butler was our high man with 17. Dirk had 16, missed 2 free throws which is weird...6 people in double figures. Good win

Glad the Pistons don't play again until Tuesday. I'm not ready to watch them lose yet.

You know that he's not, Mexi. He just wants people to quit asking about his knee. I'm kinda tired of it too. He knows not to push it too hard at this point, but it's the same question every single time he gets interviewed now, "How's the knee?" "How's your knee?" "Is the knee okay?" etc. etc.

Favors was our second best player yesterday.

Yesterday's game was the first and probably last professional sporting event that I will attend.

EDIT: Favors is averaging a double-double in only 21 MPG (off of the bench).

And Blazers vs Bulls....2 good match ups.

And why was it the 1st and last 1 you'll attend TWill??? Being at a professional sporting event is 100x better than watching on tv.
