Damn our offense sucks to much to catch up to the Orioles now. Drabek has been wild at times but he's been ok.

Good start for Drabek. He scattered a lot of hits but he looked good. He looked really poised there too. To bad our offense sucks too much.

Your offense isn't bad, just too inconsistent. It's hit or miss with you guys. It's always a big fly or a K it seems. Same with Tampa, which is why they get no hit so much.

I know I was just really frustrated. Our offense is just really erratic. They never get on base either. Whatever it seems like they've quit anyways. I just can't wait for 2011.

lol at Derek Jeter. Been hanging around A-Rod too much. You're better than what you did last night

Lmao, was he supposed to just tell the ump it didn't hit him? People do that <Censored> all that <Censored> all the time but because he's a Yankee it gets magnified. Calling out the trainer was to ensure it wasn't overturned. I have no problem with any plaer in the MLB acting when they get hit. And it wasn't like it lead to the umpire saying he got hit. The umpire made the call beflore he put on the show.

Matt Cain's sick play last night didn't make any sort of highlights although that <Censored> was spectacular

Jeter was a pretty good actor on that play, lmao. He sold it very well.

Don't blame Jeter, having the worst season of his career, needs to do what ever to get on base

Half the Indians lineup would kill to have the year Jeter is having :butwiggle:

Does that mean he's not having a horrible year?

Jeter was awarded first base before he started acting. He admitted to the press when asked what did the ball hit, he said "the bat" and also admitted that it didn't hit him and that he was awarded first and wasn't going to correct the umpire.

this is so overblown because he's a Yankee

if a Ray did this, everyone would be applauding them for being so "scrappy"

who cares if he acted. every player would have done it. now maybe every player wouldnt have been awarded 1st base, but still

no different than an NBA player flopping like they do every play, no different than an outfielder trapping the ball pretending they caught it, or a catcher framing a pitch to make it a strike

move on

i wonder if the Rays will hit him when they play next?

Phil Hughes is one gutless fuc[/b]king coward. No sense of urgency or capability to use his secondary pitches. I will be removing his jersey from my avatar....

Calm down. It's his first year as a major league starter. He seems fatigued though.

I am well aware of that. However, you DO NOT let Dan Johnson get the best of you twice in one game. That is inexcusable.

You're quite easily the worst fan of any sports team in sports history.
