I meant his rookie year. After looking at the stats, it looks like he wasn't even too special then.

Yet Palmer believes that Ryan is "a GREAT QB".

Potential is what Joe Flacco has because he has the best arm in the league... Ryan has nothing special about him at all.

What's so funny about that? I wouldn't doubt it if he had the strongest arm in football..

Who does then? Stafford? Cutler? Derek Anderson? I'd definitely say he does.

I'd say Stafford and Cutler have better arms. Even Big Ben has a huge arm..

Your Joe Flacco love is quite hilarious Yanks. I'll admit that. :p

Big arm = Overrated in today's NFL.

Look at the top end QB's in the league.

Manning, Brees, Brady, Rodgers. I wouldn't say all of those guys have cannons for arms.

Flacco has capability to be up on that list. You see how fast Rodgers rose to get up there. I still don't even know if I would put Rodgers up there in terms of overall skill rather than statistics. He's good but I wanna see how he fairs again.

Flacco is not an elite QB, nor will he be in the this league. Rodgers is much more talented overall, as a QB than Flacco. I think people are over-hyping Rodgers to be quite honest with you. With that said, he is still a talented QB and one of the top in the NFL IMO.

Not on the level of: Manning, Brees, Brady, though.

Um, first off you were laughing when he said Flacco had the best arm in football, now all of the sudden having a big arm is overrated?

Peyton in his 2nd year had basically the same numbers as Flacco last year. Not to mention this is the first year Flacco will actually have weapons. Boldin and TJ are better then any receiver Flacco has had in the last 2 years. And Stallworth will be a good slot option if healthy.

Flacco is a good QB but still makes Rookie like mistakes a lot, especially against really good defenses. He does have a big arm, but so does quite a few other QB's. Generally his accuracy lacks on deep passes but he does manage to pull in a few. Flacco will never be Peyton Manning like a lot of QB's won't be. I guess he could be, there's a chance but I don't see it happening. He does have a lot of upside/potential however and he is a good QB, no doubt about it. I'm never comfortable playing against Flacco.

  • Became the first rookie QB in NFL history to win two playoff games in the 2008 Divisional Playoff win at Ten. (1/10/09)
  • His 37 NFL starts (including playoffs) are the most in the first two seasons by a QB in NFL history
  • Flacco has thrown for 6,584 yards in his first two seasons, the fifth-highest total in league history. He's also led his team to back-to-back playoff appearances and three road playoff wins.

LOL at 52 TD's. Boldin is not the type of #1 WR you can break a record like that with, and the rest of their WR's are scrubs.

As for the QB debate, Flacco and Ryan will both be Top 5 QB's in a few years time.

Ryan reminds me alot of Tom Brady. Just they way he plays. Not the biggest arm, but he plays with heart and and is very accurate. None of the best QB's were great to start off. Manning is a great example. But trust me, when Ryan is fully developed as an NFL QB, he'll be great.

You are very biased saying Flacco can't break NFL Records.
