The Heat have expressed interest in trading for Trail Blazers guards Andre Miller and Rudy Fernandez, but agent Andy Miller says a package deal is "unlikely."

Andy Miller represents both Andre Miller and Fernandez.

A report by Yahoo! Sports says Miami is interested in Miller should LeBron James decide against joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in South Beach.

The report also claims that previous talks between Portland and Miami also included Fernandez, Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley.

"I told somebody the other day that free agency was a giant battle of opportunity where the ammunition is cash. ... I'd be interested in a (three-way) as long as it meets our parameters. If we're going to take on a lot of future money, it'll have to come down to us acquiring a high-quality player and satisfy a high-quality need."
Geoff Petrie, as quoted by Marty McNeal

LeBron James will announce which team he will sign with during the initial 10 minutes of Thursday's telecast.

Norby Williamson, the cable network's vice president of production, says sportscaster Jim Gray, will handle the introduction, announcement and questions. Williamson says Gray was hand-picked by James' team, who approached the network last week about the special.

According to multiple sources that spoke with Brian Windhorst of the Plain Dealer, all teams are 'still in the dark' about LeBron's plans.

Jermaine O'Neal is leaning towards signing with the Celtics, sources tell Yahoo!

Denver is still in the running, however.

Luol Deng to Portland
Richard Hamilton to Chicago
Joel Pryzbilla & Jarryd Bayless to Detroit

I guess that was being discussed on ESPN radio today.

LeBron James has decided to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, according to multiple sources that spoke with Newsday.

RealGM Note: The news of the 10-11 NBA salary cap being at $58.044M creates additional cap room for James, Wade and Bosh to get closer to a maximum contract.

James is scheduled to announce his final decision live on ESPN at 9:00 PM EST on Thursday.

James met with the Knicks, Nets, Heat, Clippers, Cavaliers and Bulls in that order last week.

The Heat only have Michael Beasley ($4.962M) and Mario Chalmers ($854k) under contract for the 10-11 season.

Wade and Bosh stated their intention to sign with the Heat on Wednesday morning.
