i hate you. haha

Timberwolves general manager David Kahn decided to place Al Jefferson on the block over the younger Kevin Love.

Kahn tried to move Jefferson before last week's NBA Draft and he remains on the block. The forward has three years and $42 million left on his contract.

Minnesota isn't going to give Jefferson away, but they feel as though Love is a better fit in the triangle offense of coach Kurt Rambis.

The Celtics have targeted Brad Miller in free agency, according to sources.

Miller joins Ray Allen as the other top priority of Boston. The Celtics have their midlevel exception available to sign the 34-year-old Miller. Miller is expected to be pursued by other teams, but the Celtics have definite appeal.

getting older instead of younger, once they fall down they wont be back up for a while. if i was doc, id leave after this season.

Yeah when I see Rip next he's going down. As for Jefferson, we really need to make a push for him. I don't know how many times we need to say it lol.

We need like a free agent prediction thread or something...

C - Joakim Noah
PF - Chris Bosh
SF - LeBron James
SG - Joe Johnson
PG - Derrick Rose

The NBA is over until 2020.

The whole Max and Wilcox idea is a bit interesting. They are a combined 8 million. That could nab a solid player.

but who would give up a solid player for a certified bum and a player who plays better getting starter minutes yet he is not starting material? we can waive wilcox for all i care, he killed everything for me. i used to like that guy. but i dont want to see maxiell leave unless it part of a bigger deal. id rather us move cv.

They'd take them for an overpaid player who doesn't deserve his salary lol.

They will probably try to move them for a PG.

Maybe a sign and trade involving Felton?

If keeping Joe Johnson comes down to money, the Hawks have roughly a $27 million advantage that no other team can match.

But with the free agent negotiation period set to open on Thursday, a Sunday ESPN.com report said extra cash may not be enough for Atlanta to keep its four-time All-Star guard. The report said Johnson would be willing to accept less in salary to play for the New York Knicks.

According to the report, Johnson believes he can make up the difference in salary with endorsements and stock shares in Madison Square Garden. According to NBA rules, teams are not allowed to make contact offers worth anything above salary and incentives.
He isn't worth a max.

i would be so stoked about that. but we'd need to keep rip in that case since he and bg would be a bad fit due to size, same goes for stuckey. but i like felton more than stuckey. i dont think theyd do that since they do want to try and keep tyrus.

Well I guess the Rockets offered us Brooks for our 5th. Glad we got Cousins, but Brooke would fit nicely with Reke.

I don't think so at all. Both are shoot first guards.
